- 2 sets of 10-minute basic autonomy batteries by FIAMM on stands.

ALUFLEXPACK NOVA – NEW UPS POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
The company Aluflexpack Nova d.o.o. has been using our UPS devices, Galaxy series, with power ratings of 400kVA and 800kVA, for powering and protecting their industrial facility for over 10 years. They have once again contracted the delivery, installation, and commissioning of the new generation of highly efficient UPS devices from the Galaxy VX series for their new facility in Croatia.
Galaxy VX 500kW with FIAMM batteries
The Galaxy VX UPS device features a modular design with a power rating of 500 kW, allowing for subsequent power expansion up to 750 kW in line with potential expansions of the production facility, load requirements, and user demands.
The purpose of the UPS device is to protect equipment and ensure uninterrupted and high-quality power supply. Galaxy VX operates in a highly efficient mode called Econversion mode, which guarantees power quality comparable to the IEC 62040-3 Class 1 UPS standard while ensuring an efficiency of 98.9%
Project task
The customer requested a highly efficient continuous power source with a power of 2 x 500 kW, enabling uninterrupted operation and stable, high-quality power supply to an industrial printing machine for aluminum foil.
Solution
Employees of MEP company have conducted measurements, created a project, performed installation, and commissioned equipment operation at the ALUFLEXPACK facility, including:
- 2 x 500 kW Galaxy VX with a service bypass cabinet

- installation of 2 battery sets with a basic autonomy of 10 minutes
- commissioning of equipment, testing, and connection to the BMS (Building Management System)
Galaxy VX utilizes Econversion technology, ensuring a high efficiency of 98,9 % !!!
OTHER
The system is equipped with remote monitoring and alarm notification, allowing the user to monitor and supervise the quality of equipment power supply. In addition to the UPS equipment, we carried out the production and delivery of a distribution panel for the uninterrupted power supply of other equipment in the facility.
After factory testing and successful system acceptance, a contract for regular maintenance was concluded, enabling the user to have regular preventive maintenance and guaranteed response time and spare parts delivery.
