Realiztor 2019.
On January 29, 2020, the University of Rijeka Foundation held an award ceremony for the winners of the fourth edition of the university case study competition – Realizator 2019.
The Realizator 2019 case study connected 95 students from different faculties of the University of Rijeka with six companies and institutions – Arriva Croatia, Dogma real estate, City of Kastav, Njivice Hotels, Jadran Galenski Laboratory, and MEP d.o.o. Kukuljanovo, in the largest edition of the competition so far.
This year’s edition was divided into five modules: START, SUPPORT, LEARN & MINGLE, PLAY, and WIN. In the grand finale Pitching Day Competition, which took place on December 11, 2019, students presented 26 innovative business case solutions in the form of a 3-minute pitch. The expert jury, consisting of representatives of companies, the Foundation, and the Step Ri project partner, evaluated the written work and its presentation, and the maximum number of points that could be achieved was 90.
MEP d.o.o. presented a business case in this year’s case study competition called: “Cost-benefit analysis of developing the product 3D SIMULATOR FOR SAFE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT OF LNG TANKERS in the education and training of seafarers.”
A total of 18 teams solved the business cases, and 4 teams applied for Mep’s “case,” and the prize winners are as follows:
